Anyone got a rough price for just laying the concrete floor in 100x50 building, it will already be hard cored and have all shuttering round it !.

We are way over £90/cube round about here. The figures you guys are on about we have no chance of managing.

Neighbour was recently quoted £140/cube laid and finished for a cattle court. That's £50 for laying it, so at 4" its a £5/m2 or £7.50/m2 at 6".
I have no idea if that's good or bad, but said neighbour did the floor themselves in the end.

yes, concrete is roughly half cost of laying. fibre mesh extra. this is a guy we sometimes use its a figure he uses for a job.
e.g. concreting a yard where the surface need planing off with digger a getting the levels right for water runoff.

Sounds good value to me - £120 a cube prepared and layed.

Are you sure you're right about concrete being half the cost of laying? Surely if the concrete is £75 a cube, it's the other way around. £45 a cube for laying.

For budget purposes you need to be about £25/Sq.m. which will include preperation, concrete, mesh and labour to a brushed finish.

Price gone up from 12 months ago. Now paying just under £80 a cube for RC40. Ordered from Brett this week.

Must be the difference between the north / south divide. I was quoted over £40 sq M for the complete job.
