They should channel the exhaust back to the plough so the smoke is ploughed in, apparently it helps yield.

Metal cleats and weight certainly help, also doing an almighty sh!t job of ploughing too even if they were shallow ploughing.
Impressive but must’ve been a lockdown project I reckon.

Torque from steam is Tsunami level. Like an electric motor, max torque from zero.

Per HP It’s about ten times the torque of a Diesel.

Ploughs were shorter and lighter then.

Isnt that just in the very large wheel marks?

With a bit of organising of lifting furrows, they could leave a straight headland. As it was they just seemed to be ploughing random bits.

Presumably these longer ploughs which require bigger more expensive tractors to handle them also cost more..............to do the same job
