Hello all. Looking to fit a ripvator rear forklift to a 35. Its only to lift and store empty pallets.
I've a rear tipping pipe which will operate the up/down ram. What valves will I need for hydraulic toplink.
Any advice very welcome

I have two Ripvator fork lifts and never bother with a hydraulic top link. Raising or lowering the lift arms gives all the tilt you need. This might be too much for a 35 because of the weight but if it is just empty pallets you should be ok.

The correct answer is to use a diverter valve on the 35 and run a spool bank that has lift, top link and side shift on separate lever as the Ripvator originally came supplied with.

If it’s not lifting huge weight, you could try a 12v actuator ram. 300kg ram with key fob to make it wireless control. Cable into the battery cheaper than plumbing in spool valves. Might be worth a go.

I park it with the forks under something, such as a stack of pallets or I lean it against the upright to a shed. Leaning it on an upright is favourite and park it close so it’s nearly vertical. I put a chain and hook around the mast so it definitely can’t fall over. I don’t think it would anyway but better safe than sorry. If it did fall over getting it back upright would be a pita.

I have a Ripvator with hinged forks - when parking it up it needs to be on level ground & I have an old diesel tank on the forks. Normal procedure is to tilt fully towards the tractor, lower the link arms, drop the mast, tilt away so that the forks just touch the ground, chock the wheels & then disconnect the top & then bottom links. Don't forget that you'll need to use a stay bar or check chains to stop the forklift swinging around when mounted up. I've only ever used mine on the MF690, but in theory could use my MF135 on which I have a diverter valve & set of spools that I have mounted for a loader.

That's interesting tallguy. I've only just got mine so playing about just now. I put it on 35 and worked ok. Used trailer tipping pipe to lift forks. Need diverter and spools on 35 but will most likely use on jd2650
