Recent Energy suppliers that have ceased trading

This was the government's fault for allowing the energy markets to fragment in this way.
Nit so simple, in the pat the energy industry was about itself, customers were a nuisance that had to tolerated , so they could milk them.
Privatisation did not work well as the old companies continued in their ways and were bought up by nasty foreigners who would milk even harder.
So they introduced a new band of independent suppliers, sadly many realised the big money was supplying power through the day trading market. This would be fine except the government put an energy cost cap on and the day traders had not prepared for a time when short market would go through the roof
