Recommend me some free standing grain walling

Have a shed that requires the rear wall to be stronger than it is for bulk grain storage. Would be a very big fek about to strengthen the structure so thinking about some free standing grain walling. Can only be accessed from the front elevation - would the concrete L shaped sections be any good? The foot of the L to toe into the building and be covered with grain so the vertical face flat to the back of the shed so minimal space is lost. To be filled to 8ft.

Any recommendations?

They will be heavy and expensive compared to flat panels, and more difficult to seal joints.
Can you really not dig holes into floor to take RSJs across the back, and drop flat panels in?

Unfortunately it would be a mucho pain in that arris to do that

We have some solid a shaped panels. 1 m long and 3.2t. From East Yorkshire concrete.

We got some Moore bunker walls and are very pleased with them. The ones we have are only 1.5m tall though. I think the bigger ones are 2.5m. They are T shaped. 1.2m sections and less than 1m wide.

I’ve heard they are quite difficult to work with, I’m guessing they will also take up a lot of width / loose a lot of capacity with them

L Panels or alpha blocks. Lego blocks are good too. We use an array of all them on projects.

Mine are alpha blocks for splitting a shed longways.

They are all right for that job, a bit difficult to seal but I am not too worried about that as nothing leaves the farm, it is all ground here.

I've got Moore 2.8m high 1.2m long, if your floor is level they seal just fine. Not fixed to floor and I can load it high with wheat on one side and empty on the other with no problem

The Lego blocks seem to be an ideal harbourage for insects, do you have to take them apart annually to clean them properly?

We have some of the Moore ones at work, easy to move and use, don’t leak wheat when butted up square and move easy with tines on fork lift. Not sure why but they came through McArthers at Gunthorpe

I used to pour concrete walls using two 45 ft artic flat trailers on their side bolted together as shuttering.
Eighteen inches thick at the bottom is pretty robust
