No-one wants them in their area, because of all the alleged smells, pollution and cancer causing chemicals it spews out.

We've had one in Huddersfield for years, don't know of anyone losing their life because of it's emissions.

Incineration alone for cheap disposal is wasteful.....but all of the waste recovery that's gone on prior to that at this facility makes a lot of sense. Having all operations under one roof makes a lot of sense. Too many seem to just go straight for the incineration option.
