Any experience with Red Angus cattle? We're looking for one or more red angus bulls and were wondering what the forum's views are on them. Also, who are the main breeders / herds? Thanks

Please get in touch and we can have a chat - we have one of the largest red herds in the UK now. You can have a look at some of our breeding in the Genus catalogue or Cogent under Mosshall as we have bulls standing in both studs at the moment.

I'd be interested in finding out more, too. Hawkley Red Zeppelin is in our AI book, wondering if the reds are as good as the blacks, their colour would work better on my simmys as the mushy grey colour doesn't sell well here. :scratchhead:

What are you doing with that nice Hereford bull you had? (At least I think it was yours).
I posted a picture quite a few years ago now - may even have been on the old BFF.... He's long since gone, we've been purebred Sussex since then but can't seem to find many bulls and those we do find are too expensive :(

Father Titan and his son Eddard who was out of a black cow. Titan has been one of our best Bulls over the last 5 years had a couple of years on heifers with no calving problems and has been on cows ever since. Would have another without a doubt. Hope Titan goes on for a few years yet though.
