As @DrWazzock says on the other thread, if cheaper imports meet our standards, we will be stuffed.

The only reason I can argue against New Zealand lamb is that their husbandry standards are below ours. And the Yanks still think they are Wild-West Cowboys with lassos and branding irons. And do we know much about how beef is produced in Brazil or Namibia?

But they don't need to meet our standard that is the problem. We're stuffed either way.
