It’s going to reduce some crops more than others, think OSR and linseed could be more or less finished locally and probably combinable peas and beans will be reduced. The effect on 1st wheats will be possibly a bigger area ?
Yes, there’s a lot more to it than this poll can extract, including crop type reduced and farm size. It’s going to reduce some crops more than others, think OSR and linseed could be more or less finished locally and probably combinable peas and beans will be reduced. Will people modify the three yearly agreement annually or just leave it? I suppose a lot depends. I intend to apply this august and leave areas fixed for three years. I’m not so influenced by the ups and downs of weather or even markets. It’s more a consideration of poor soils never really averaging great yields.Perhaps sfi might be the savour this year after wet winter, but have reduced effect next season.
I thought you could start a new agreement any time as long as you start the action within 12 months of acceptance of the agreement. I think you can have multiple agreements with different start dates, but best ask an expert. When is the new date for applications ? I'm shoving some more in
Already got one goingI thought you could start a new agreement any time as long as you start the action within 12 months of acceptance of the agreement. I think you can have multiple agreements with different start dates, but best ask an expert.
I think you can start another one. Just give it a different name. Not 100% sure about that but that’s what I’d heard. Your existing agreement will continue.Already got one going
I'll wait until August to get it in the rotation better , not that I have a rotation presentlyI think you can start another one. Just give it a different name. Not 100% sure about that but that’s what I’d heard. Your existing agreement will continue.
