My cross conveyer seems to get very lazy as the tractor oil gets warm. I had to stop tonight as it kept stopping under load. The tractor has had a new hyd pump and filters etc. I took the hyd filter out of the destoner and it looked clean? What else could it be? Would it be better with a separate return for oil instead of running through spool?

Mine's been the same this year, I put new drive shoes on and tightened the web which helped, but something's not right.

If you take off the top plate ( 2 10mm headed studs) and get someone to switch it on you will see if motor turns and shaft doesn't, but then it will start turning because the motor in other side of conveyor will drive it- until any kind of weight is on it

Any machine is better having a free flow return

long time since i used one but it’s probably drive shoes worn

also recall it was better with a free flow return and power beyond fitted
