I am knocking around a diversification idea in my head and part of it is to be able to control access though a gate.
But I will not have mains power on site.
I would also like to be able to generate new codes remotely, probably automatically so they are one time codes.
I could possibly throw a wifi signal to the site but would have to put in a wifi repeater, again where there is no power, are there solar/battery powered wifi repeaters?
Other option would be a 4g SIM operated system.
