Remote camera

Hello, firstly I must apologise if this is posted in the wrong place. I have a rental property which is 3/4 of a mile from my house and out of direct view. The property is used for holiday let's and as such there are alot of change overs to do, we ask people to vacate by 11am but quite often they leave earlier. So that we can get on with the job and get it out of the way we have to get in the car and drive up the road to a spot where we can check if the guests have left. As you can appreciate this is a pita. Mostly my wife does the changes and with young children it's a pest. Could anyone recommend a camera I could mount discretely to check if the guests car has gone? There is no mobile signal here. I have looked around but am getting a bit bamboozled as am crap at this sort of thing.
Cheers

Broadband in the property?

Have you tried ALL the mobile coverage providers for signal reception? It can vary depending on location...

There are cameras with SIM cards built in, that have an external aerial that will punch a signal where a small internal mobile phone aerial, won't. Mount the camera on a pole or on a roof, for added reception possibilities?

You'll have broadband wifi at the Hol Let, so get a camera and situate it looking at the parking spots. They are accessible from a smart phone so long as you have wifi or 4g where you are.

Thank you for your replies, I have mobile reception at the rental but not at my own house. Broadband at both places. As I said earlier I am a bit naive/slow to grasp how this works. Ring door bell sounds like a good option.
