Just been giving a Renn 30 a bit of a service and was wondering if anyone knows what adjustment pressure should be on the leaf spring? Can't see any info in the manual.
There is little bolt you adjust to move rollers tigher together & that will roll the grain harder or to tighen the spring undo the lock nut & tighten the bolt up a bit in center of the spring

Think ours might be slightly different will get a picture later.
Have set the rollers up as per the book it's just there's no instruction as to how tight the two tensioner bolts should be and if they are tighter does that give more output.

Picture. Those studs push on the leaf spring and are about 1/3 of their way in and bl**dy tight. Just wondered how far to take them?
