I'm looking to rent some land x 1 acre to 2 acre possibly from a farmer local to me to grow veg - soft fruits and herbs and possibly keep poultry in my retirement, for self sufficiency and to sell excess produce at local markets.
Enquire if this is feasible and does happen and how one would go about obtaining this land?
Also what sort of rental per acre could I expect to be paying per year - live in Kent on the outskirts of London
Any advise welcome or any direction to further reading will also be appreciated
