Renting rural space with or without structures - living-in guardian

Hi there I hope this might just add a slight bit of novelty.
- I'm looking to rent some land (an acre or two) to site a workshop container and possibly in time a THOW (aka"Tiny House on Wheels") I'm a developer and producer of specialised and bespoke wooden therapy equipment* and have been looking to improve the way I go about making a respectable living AND survive. My planning has been going on for some time now, long before Covid was a thing. In other words this is not a refugee but sustainability situation for me.
The mutual benefit I was considering - I know that some types of agricultural land is split and bits of structure/sheds/stables are outlaying and get frequently squatted in or vandalised. With me renting the space I would act as a form of live-in guardian.
I originate from a rural background and so far have left anywhere I have lived better than I found it especially the out doors (a quirk of mine).

Sorry I'm new to this type of forum (usually I get advise on tools or joinery issues on forums) So not all together familiar with the forum etiquette here - Just a thought, my request might raise any sort of questions.
Or I might have placed it in the wrong spot. Any advise on where I might inquire and who or how to approach. Sadly I'm aware with online platforms, - where I could be just another nuisance or somebody worth dealing with and its anyone's guess which fits the bill.
BTW I have gained a lot from reading some of the threads. But I'm sure that's scratching the surface at best.

Thanks for your reply, I have done a mind-boggling amount of research already and know how certain planning permissions work and if the right setup and matching set of needs shows up there might be a good chance despite rules & regs (if you are on this forum my guess is you are an expert on the later!!!)
- I'm currently in Essex but could move around surrounding counties if opportunity shows up. I have three jobs 2 of which are not place specific giving me an option to relocate. I'm aware my request is unusual, tricky, difficult perhaps - but not impossible. And it's better to ask and meet obstacles than never have tried at all. Who knows maybe someone reads it here and mentions it to someone else completely different (non farming) and things happen from there. I love some of Churchill's definitions on success...
