Talk on Twitter and the farming press of the return of BPS at £80/acre!
Only headage payments do that. Suckler cow premium will be coming back next!Maybe they were worried that removing the carrot was also going to remove the stick.
Wow i hope so ! Id love £80Talk on Twitter and the farming press of the return of BPS at £80/acre!
So there are no rules that require compliance to get BPS? No hedgecutting dates for example?Only headage payments do that. Suckler cow premium will be coming back next!
Its a new gov now so she's just getting genned up on the 'new scheme ' that she has got to roll out ....Our mole on here seems to have gone quite of late wonder if the contacts with this forum and others have finally made a breakthrough and made defra see what a b up they are making
It's a good idea in my opinion, a local large estate used to get one of the largest payments, all of which would be spent in the local economy, keeping various small firms and tradesmen going with regular work. Due to the reduction of payments alot of that has stopped. Busy tradesmen and businesses mean people paying tax. It's a bit of a money merry go round but surely that's better than unemployment ?
Wont just be the hills it will be all the ancillary buisnesses as wellLooks as if things stay as they are there will be a big reduction of output especially in the hills
Yes I was thinking of farming first but that’s very true. Might not effect folks as much further down? Or will it?Wont just be the hills it will be all the ancillary buisnesses as well
