Rice trailer

Hi all , Got an old rice trailer looks like the front wheel is not running true keeps wearing inside edge of tyre out in no time get about 7/ 800 mile out of new tyre before needs replacing ! Anybody else had this problem with a trailer ? Will it be case of replacing full axle ? Regards Richard.

Full axle or separate units ,either way it sounds like the rubber inside has failed ,letting the hub hang back and out of square

Hi , it's a full axle never thought of that the rubber failing ! I will pop wheel off in next few days and have a look .I wondered if the shaft had bent ? We don't use it for horses just general stuff hay , shavings ECT. But your idea sounds likely due to age of the thing !
