Unfortunately this is not a good laugh, for those of us who have been brought up with vermin control , countryside pursuits, livestock farming as a normal way of life , we are very , very , very much in the minority these days, reading the comments on this FB page only endorse quite how much many of us are out of touch with the public,

It is certainly frustrating, I’d like to term it that they are out of touch with reality. It’s all about charismatic fauna and attaching human emotions and feelings to things without understanding populations/control/conservation etc. I did however take the opportunity to laugh at the stupidity.

I’m afraid they’ve had a big deleting session in the comments now so not so entertaining. The story is they’ve been trespassing and interrupted some pigeon shooters having a go on laid barley. Other than saying they’re wiping out wildlife, they’re evil child abusers etc, they were wondering if the pigeon shooters were paid by the farmer to flatten the crop so that the farmer could fraudulently claim insurance for it... they essentially just brain farted all over the comments section. Oh and they called the police out to armed men.
Just looked again and they’ve changed the description as they had published farmers name and address and put up vehicle details etc

All the more reason to screenshot the stuff if something illegal may have been posted.

Let’s be honest who’s more likely to be a threat to public order -trespassers dressed in black with a balaclava on making threats and shouting obscenities....or someone hiding in a hedge shooting pigeons.

Similarly most of the anti footage out hunting is along the lines of-
‘there’s a man on a horse with hounds and a horn- that’s ILLEGAL!!!’. Errr no it’s not actually.

At least in this area the police have no time for them at all.

Let’s be honest who’s more likely to be a threat to public order -trespassers dressed in black with a balaclava on making threats and shouting obscenities....or someone hiding in a hedge shooting pigeons.

Also, who has had their life choices assessed and criminal record checked to see they are an upstanding member of the public, before gaining the opportunity to be in possession of a gun.
