Rifle light scooe

just missed a fox, twice, within range of our chickens.

This is against me religion and must stop.

To be fair to me I was using a tree branch as a rest which meant standing in tip toes and was using me left hand to hold the torch, hardly the right tools for the job.

Rifle is a 243, can easily take out a 6 pint milk carton at 150m

After a micro scope mounted torch. my theory is the main light to spot and this to finish off so I can use both hands on the rifle - a new experience at night!

Any suggestions please!?

Night master 800 (from Taclight) mounted on rifle scope would be good. Or night vision if you want to spend more£.
You need to be safe with a 243 so stability & identifying target is quite important [emoji2]

I only load 5 rounds in the mag - 5 thwacks,5 big exit wounds and back in by 11:30

Those 53 gr superformance are so destructive.

223,6.5x50 photon and bamboo quad sticks.
I know i took the wrong rifle last night, was only going up the road to drop the boy off
and the little rifle just came along for the ride. on the way back i drove round the grass field
that had just been cut, first one just moved as i fired, second one should have dropped.
good job i was on me own with nobody to take the micky

This company is good. Got a t38 off them (38mm lens, t67 is 67mm), it had a cracked lens on delivery so sent a pic and got a new one next day so easy to deal with.

Reflection is more of a problem from the mod I'd say, a bit of tube to shade the light works well if a little blue peter!

I am going for a white light. Don't get the opportunity much to go out much so not so lamp shy.

The one last night wasn't which I suspect had 2 rounds over his head the night before!
