Usually caused by prolapsed ewes, malpresented lambs or dead lambs I believe can also be caused by lack of eastrogen hormone at the time of labour which causes ewe to give up during lambing I've heard people give 80-100 ml of calcium and leave half hour

I give calcium and some time, but ultimately a caesarian is the best outcome generally for lambs and ewes. I agree that its never something I've seen 2 years in a row.

I tend to disagree with dead lambs or prolapses, in those ewes the cervix usually dilates with time and lube. A true ringwomb it doesn't.
