A 100 CFM will do you job findWhat is classed as a big one 140?
Not wanting to spend a fortune, can get 100cfm for around £3500 but a 140cfm is about £5000.
Thinking there must be something g wrong with our smaller 130 cfm then…after ten or fifteen minutes flat out blowing machines it overheats…always had done and all coolers /filters are clean ,oil clean/changed and the filter in the compressor itselfcan overheat the 260 if ran for half an hour or so blowing say two combinesWe use 260 cfm but not working flat out ..a small one around 100 cfm will overheat easily if used on full flow for long in my experience
140 would be ideal. Are you wanting to blow 2 machines off at once?Hi all, I’m looking into buying a road compressor for harvest to keep balers and combine clean. How big do I need to go, I’ve seen 100cfm and 140 cfm for sale Is the 100cfm big enough?
any advice appreciated
Tia
What size compressor are you running speedstar? We have 2 of these one as in the photo and 1 about 4 foot long for cleaning things off ,both work very well
A 140cfm & a 260 CFM for you job a 100CFM would be fineWhat size compressor are you running speedstar?
Thanks for that bit of wisdom. Never thought about it like that. I've put a new rad in our 185 and still over heats. Using open lanceA 100cfm compressor does 100cfm at 8 bar
On a lance there's no back pressure so it's working 300% hence heat
Flatten the end of the pipe so the compressor not full bore
squash the end downThanks for that bit of wisdom. Never thought about it like that. I've put a new rad in our 185 and still over heats. Using open lance
