Roadside Value of firewood grade timber?

In todays Farmers Weekly page 24, a Marc Liebrecht (Carter Jonas forestry manager) ,quotes that the roadside value of firewood cord wood is £35-£45 /t. I wish the prices were correct,but are they, perhaps @renewablejohn would like to comment.

Really does depend where in the country you are. Around here in Lancashire there is so much ash dieback you can get timber for peanuts. Other areas without the Ash problem are around 65-70 /t.

Have prices for Ash at roadside gone up or down much since February, as tomorrow Monday , I need to phone around for prices at roadside , as I require 5 artic loads.
