Robinia is a very durable timber with an expected life span of 25+ years. Robinia has a durability class 1-2 (British Standard EN 350-2). It is more durable than both Oak and Sweet Chestnut, and has more stability and rot resistance. It does not require any chemical treatment to extend its durability. FSC timber available.
