Said it was as if the button the tanker driver pushes had been pushed (I don't have robots)!? Blue, Delaval. Went in end off last/start of this year but where secondhand. Think they had been in two other places prior. He was lucky like you @happycows, tanker had been in the night before, no collection today, so tomorrow morning would have been rather grim. Asked who would cover the loss, but he didn't;t know yet.
Not required there to have a cap on the outlet to keep flies and vermin out of the tank outlet?
Wont pass inspection if no cap and tank wash pump not plugged. Have witnessed what happens when a mouse goes into the wash pump hose.

Good point/question. Don't know. Sure the others will inform us soon.

Friend of mine having a major problem with the UPS backup system for his robot computer keeps blowing. It keeps blowing the power card. His electrician cannot find any problem and the ESB keep saying all is fine on there side. They did put in a monitor this week to measure voltage to see if his system is getting spikes. Has this happened to anyone and how did ye sort the issue.

This Lely lense cleaner for cleaning the laser just window cleaner?
Super duty cleaner. If your water is not too hard, window cleaner might be fine for daily cleaning. Then once or twice a week do a good cleaning with the Lely cleaner. Just a small amount on a cloth and scrub good. Have had a couple of times when it was not being used, got a hard water glaze on the glass. It would look clear when wet, nut dried with a haze over it. One I took the laser off while doing a maintenance (with the intention of replacing it). Just for fun, stood it on end glass up and put a towel on soaked with straight Astri-cid. Let it sit for an hour while I did the rest of the maintenance. The haze then was softened and was able to scrape it off with my thumb nail. They then used the Lely cleaner twice a week and the haze never returned. Doing this a bottle should last a long time.

A woman went to BMW with a new car under warranty with a issue as the windscreen washer wouldn't work. Seems a highly technically advanced car can't cope with "Tesco screenwash" but needs the BMW screenwash. Therefore she invalidated the warranty on the broken components!

Just be aware.

think lely charge £400 for a refurbed lazer. Generally just seals to stop the condensation so seems a bit steep to me but a lot less than a new one. Bit of a pain to change too as the plug is right up inside the arm.
