Rocking beam trailer axles

All our trailers are leaf Spring suspension, have seen a Bailey trailer for sale with rocking beam axles that interests me. Trailer has had an easy life. Is there any disadvantages with a rocking beam axle over leaf Spring. I notice that it costs more to buy a new trailer with rocking beam axle over leaf Spring by a grand! Just wondering if it's that much better?

No suspension other than through the tyres ,,remember the days of AS marstons ,,8tn on 12.5x15 ,,tyres never lasted

rocking beam is much better on hills ,suspension not as good as leaf spring but not that much different.
