Rocking beam trailer axles

All our trailers are leaf Spring suspension, have seen a Bailey trailer for sale with rocking beam axles that interests me. Trailer has had an easy life. Is there any disadvantages with a rocking beam axle over leaf Spring. I notice that it costs more to buy a new trailer with rocking beam axle over leaf Spring by a grand! Just wondering if it's that much better?

Most of my trailers are rocking beam, they seem to behave ok

Our trailers on rockers can make corugations in the right/wrong conditions we used to see it on tattie field endrigs.

Other than that they usually eventually wear and collapse to a certain extent
