Roller shutter door

I asked the company building my shed if they could quote for supplying a single phase RSD and they have come back with £2200 + Vat which seems a little steep to me looking at some online prices...

Would it be fairly straight forward to retro fit a door after the shed is up? I am having the door way on the right hand side not in the middle.

We fitted 3 second hand roller doors to some sheds A few years back
easy enough to fit if you have a teleporter and are decent with a welder.
make sure the width is right then you weld it in place rolled up, then let it down to weld the side runners in place.
Be careful to set the limit stops right

You definitely buy online cheaper and fit you can fit it yourself there would be a good saving to make. Fitting them isn’t rocket science we did our first one with no problems .

Admittedly not agriculture but in a retail setting I’ve recently been hit with a fair few replacement roller shutter bills as according to firm they are now classed as machinery needing an annual safety inspection with compliance certification and if shutter doesn’t have adequate safety brakes they are condemned with the option of retro fitting said safety features or in my case complete replacement units. Wondering if anyone else has had any problems?
