Anyone bought this system? What are your views? 4K for a mobile system and electronic weigh scales looks good. I appreciate it's not a prattley/rappa so not expecting the same, but for a smaller (100's rather than 1000's) flock would it do a job. The cash not spent on a prattley could be spent on some kit to begin EID performance recording.

I have one. To be honest for the money I think it's really good. As you say, I don't think I'd fancy it for 1000s of sheep but for my few hundred it's good.

Haven't got the weigh option though. That was a mistake as I should've gone for it

Just ordered one with the weigher, People say metal hurdles are too heavy compared to alloy, but anythings better than tiying 12ft gates together! You need a lot of sheep to justify 9k+ for the luxury of lightweight material imho.

To be honest the hurdles aren't even that heavy. Obviously a lot heavier than aluminium, but definitely not heavy enough to hinder the job.

Yes they don't look that heavy! how does the sledge idea work? Can you drag them along behind the sheep like the lighter alloy ones?

Yes you can. They drag easily enough

@GSF LIVESTOCK SYSTEMS --- you must have some promotional videos/pictures you can put up for all of us to see?
Inbuilt scales will be a good selling point
