I bought a topcon HL-H4C last year ,duel grade ,self leveling ,,rechargeable battery .
Full kit ,unit, staff, tripod and receiver was £540 inc vat.
Came from Zenith surveys nr Lincoln
Travis Perkins wanted 700+V ,only because they are secondary sellers who hire out more than they sell ,,you can imagine the few short words I used before I told them I could get direct for a load lessGood deal! Think I paid nearly that for my first single grade one 10yrs back......and that was just a Stanley.
Eventually swapped that in a couple of years ago for a true grade laser! Super handy.

RLH4C isn’t a grade laser let alone dual grade !, you can do grade with it but you have to do it manually with the tilt buttons !.
I have just bought one of these with the upgraded FRD800 detector - so far so good, but time will tell I suppose:

Nothing wrong with Fukuda IMO. Does the job and a fraction of the price of top brand.
I doubt https://www.laser-level.co.uk/ would sell them if they caused them endless trouble and warranty returns.
don't bother with the cheepos that you have to manually alter the grade, unless you will never do this!
you want to just type in a grade to set it up.
also to check a laser are you not supposed to put laser and mark 2 points 10m away from it opposite directions and take levels. then move laser to past 1 point and sight the 2 back down same line to check levels (shows how accurate level is on it?)
repeat in the opposite direction.
