Finally got fibre to the cabinet available, now need a better faster Router, any recommendations out there. Old stone walled property, so good wi-fi a bonus.

Will you not get a router with your new contract. ?
You can not expect a router to work miracles getting wifi through thick walls.
Lots of options, Folk seem to love or hate the plugs that work through the leccy ring main.
i think the best solution is a cat5 cable from the router with a wifi access point at the blind spot

Draytek vigor 2760n. Doesn't look pretty or sound special but I have one on recommendation from my comms man that got me onto fttc. This involved two new ghost phone lines to fill the cabinet I was on to get the new line onto the closer fast cabinet. Line was still dropping with tplink and netgear routers. Draytek just took it in its stride and hasn't been reset in probably two years.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
