Just had an "invite" to join in... No doubt many others will also have the email.

Will it be better than the DEFRA offering of co-design and farmer feedback and interaction? Well, it cannot be worse!!

Dear Sir or Madam

Our Research and Insight Network Group

The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) is listening to the voice of the farmer, learning from feedback and working on how we can do better.
As part of this, the RPA Customer Insight Team, is inviting you to get involved in how the agency builds a different relationship with you.
We’re launching a Research and Insight Network Group, with a wide range of research and feedback opportunities which we hope you’ll take part in. The Network will be the voice of farmers, land managers and rural businesses and an important part of the wider insight we collect
We’ll host events, focus groups, discussions and surveys where you can share your opinions, ideas and suggestions. There’ll also be an opportunity to be part of a group providing feedback on communication and guidance for new schemes.

If you join our network, we’ll ask you to attend at least one event or meeting annually – that could be virtually, by phone or in person. We’ll also ask you to complete one short survey each year.

So, do I join in.... My naturally nosey attitudes says yes, but how much time will need to be spent on this, and will it do any good!

It will tick another of their boxes. All Defra need to do is to show they are listening by implementing some of the suggestions made by farmers. Time will tell.
