RTK VRS SIM cards

Yes some conflicting advice on here. I'm guessing the prices of 25 per month are just for data and don't include the initial cost of the correct sim package or a connection to the server. But I stand to be proved wrong ?????

Look

To tranfer data from reciever to base station you need a data only sim card= £25 per month.
To have access to base station you need to pay for connection to it. this is around £50 per month.

Some dealers will combine card and base station connection on one price , others charge you to connect and then you need to buy your own card .
I think this is why there is a big difference in prices.

24 month data contracts on vodafone for 3 gig are about £12.50 a month with no cost for the sim or setup charge
orange i think for 12month was £9.00 for 1 gig

having just commisioned an RTK sim system. Voda supplied the data sim at £7.50/month (30 day contract) and placed it on my account. That is for 500MB of data per month.. At current usage 12500 kb/day should work out at 365Mb per month that is assuming you work long days every day.
So shop aroud a bit
