So our annual holiday starts on Saturday with a week self catering near Faversham and another in Tenderton.

Apart from M25 and the Dartford Crossing, what else should we do good peeps of Kent?

The mini steam train Hythe to dungeness is great.
Samphire hoe is a nice walk, man made habitats with spoil from the channel tunnel.
Biddenden vineyard does the best cider.
Chistlehurst caves.
Dover castle
Deal castle
Walmer castle
Ellen Terry's house
Teenagers will love Ashford designer outlet.
Shepherd neam breweries
I'll think of more

While you are in Faversham, if you want a treat lunch this place is about 20 mins away and well worth a visit, fantastic kitchen garden with outside bar and wood fired oven - nothing better on a nice day. Really nice menu if you want to eat in too.

Chapel down for some wine and vineyard tour as your in tenterden. Or go biddenden vineyards and hush heath as well to compare them all.

Shepherd neame for a brewery tour at faversham.

Steam train from tenterden to bodiam is good.

Rye is beautiful and only 10 miles from tenterden definitely worth a trip. Nature reserve at rye harbour too.

Winchelsea not much further away if you want a nice quiet sea walk.

Plenty of castles about. Dovers the best. Roman fort there too.

Wouldn't bother with Maidstone or Medway!
Stick to the weald 👌🏼

Docked in Ospringe for a week
First impressions... Kent not dissimilar to Leicestershire and many counties in between
