Rushes….. what to do?

I do wonder what folk are doing if they are finding MCPA won't work. I've seen it before where one person phoned up and complained: ' that spray you sent isn't working- the rushes aren't dying' On subsequent inspection I found that the thistles and other trash were folded up lovely, but the tall green spiky stuff remained untouched because they were in fact sedges not rushes.

Referred to as one and the same aren’t they? Not sure I’d know the difference tbf. I though all that type of stuff was killed by mcpa?

mcpa does work on rushes
unfortunately sometimes time gets away from us and if they dont get sprayed soon enough....and get to flower.....

It don't kill the seed in the ground that's the problem , but they never seem to come back when I roundup them, so that's says to me that MCPA I'd not a knockout punch
