While we argue over the relative value (votes?) of cattle v. badgers, the Russians concentrate on z Tuberculosis.
Today an Irish newspaper describes an immediate ban on beef offal from the country.

They did this before in 2004, and some frantic diplomacy and access for 3 Russian dairies to the EU market, avoided a ban.
The veterinary certificate is still in a European drawer, even if Defra have archived it.
