The reality It is that that is what's happening now in Ukraine.have you no empathy with Volodymyr Zelensky ? or are you more suited to offering 'diplomacy in the style mr Lavrov .....

That is presenting a real threat to our country more than its been threatened for some years .

Those are the realities so why you deny it i really don't know.

Its noted now that the agreed humanitarian cease fire is not yet happening , shooting and bombing is still carrying on not allowing columns of innocent people to escape to safety
totally agree, its awful, but, sensible hat on, we don't want a all European war, with a nutter, who is unpredictable, to say the least. No doubt he has chemical weapons,, as well as nuclear, plus other indiscriminate bombs. At the moment, they are aiding the Ukrainians with all sorts of stuff, and for certain, loads of stuff we don't know about. I think in the end, NATO may have to act, it depends on how 'dirty' Putin gets, but its better for Europe, if the Ukrainian's kick him out, with our massive military tacit support. One way or another, he has to be stopped in Ukraine, or he will start again, on another country.
NATO is building up forces in the Baltic states, Finland is seriously worried, as are Sweden Estonia Lithuania etc, so what is happening there ? Perhaps Putin thinks he can fight on 2 fronts, just like Hitler did, and lost.
Would Hitler have used a nuclear bomb, if he had had one, like Putin, he had nothing to lose.

Forget it, the more the West sends arms to Ukraine the more vicious Putin will get & the closer we will get to starting a world war with no winners but one hell of a lot of losers. The Ukraine leadership made their decision & I'm afraid must live with the consequences of it!

A few planes straying into Russian airspace from Norway might divert Putin's attention ( and resources ) away from Ukraine ??
He was quite happy to fly planes off the coast of Cornwall in 2020 after all............

Personally if I were Ukrainian then I would be asking how we got to this point & how our leadership could have handled it differently knowing before it started that you were on your own & how ruthless the Russians could be.
He is a murdering criminal .
He will be stopped and punished for this, there will be justice ... one way or another .

I speak to Ukrainians living in England, who blame their president. He will relocate to Israel whilst ordinary Ukrainians will be left with a war torn country. The handful of Russians who I know are fiercely patriotic and fully support Putin.

Even the Polish I know personally hold no resentment towards Putin, they feel closer to him then Biden. It was youthful foolishness on behalf of the Ukrainian president, which led to him prodding the giant which is Russia.

Why should we send our troops to their death on his behalf? Our streets are already paved with homeless war veterans from unnecessary previous wars.

The day the editors of the newspapers and politicians send their children to fight against Putin, I will believe he is as bad as they state. I didn't believe the media when they said toilet paper would run out and I don't believe them now.

A lady once told me when you're about to make love the man helps you undress, after the event he is not interested and you have to dress yourself, the moral of the story is once you're f11cked no one helps you. Ukraine is the lady and America is the man.
A lot of rubbish

And the tooth fairy will have been in the morning, tell that to Assad or the Taliban or countless other despots in the world, let's hope it at least happens in the afterlife.

Ukraine has strong leadership.

Which you don't understand because you are not a strong leader.

Claims to go in to protect ethnic russian but levels Mariupul, which is home to 200,000 ethnic russian and part of donesk self proclaimed republic.

Can see how he will be able to keep this under wraps from his own people. People will tell their family in russia what is happening
