Somewhere around £2-£2500 would be a starting point depending how bad it is how much to strip off etc

Would come up well with a blast and decent paint, do that and it would probably be better paint and last longer than a new one that’s what we think anyway, paintwork on new equipment can be quite poor at times
Yeah i know what you mean about modern paint. Id be welding in a couple of new cross member and fitting a new head board cos its rotton.

We had a 3 axle low loader like that done last year cost just under 2k and they made a very good job of it with lots of paint on it
That sounds pretty reasonable tbh. Im also thinking of getting the axles/chasis/cross members done with clear wax oil if i get it painted

The guy that does ours has lifts to get them off the ground so they can make a super job and with all the paint they put on there is no need for wax oil
