Sand dispenser on dumper truck

Hi all,

Heard about a local farmer putting a sand dispenser on to a dumper truck. I believe the idea is to have the bucket fixed and use the tipping hydraulics for the auger.
Our handler struggles to get in to the cubicle sheds.. if you can get hold of a cheap dumper, is this a viable option!?

You could plumb a diverter valve in the tipping circuit, so you could easily swap between tipping and running the auger.

Get a 4t swivel dumper they’re narrower than a standard dumper,mount a 3point linkage and get an ag dispenser with the tipping linkage.

I used to scrape out with a hydrostatic dumper,great machine and cheap to run.
