Scaffolding costs

Location

Personally I'd measure the building/area. Then consider carefully what you are going to use it for ie, load bearing, how many lifts, which are about 1.8 m high & how long you will need it. Then ask three scaffolding contractors to visit & provide you with a price. If this is for any contractors you will have to have a SCAFF-TAG and on no account alter the structure else the ticket will become instantly invalid along with any PL insurance you may have in place. After a month there will be a hire charge which can possible be negotiated depending on the length of time this is up for.
Other option is to buy your own tube, boards & clips & pay a self employed ticketed scaffolder to errect, supply scaff-tag & dismantle when finished with, then sell on....
Hope this helps.

And there's about 4 different ways to price it linia Meters metersqware by the fittings in the job or by price that means 2 men at 100 qwid each aday n 2 days work that's 400 for expecting it thats If you buy the gear witch can an be expensive to buy but every Scaff different some lazy and it might take 2 days some get stuck in and get it up in day a Scaff tag is not a legal requirement and lift are 2 meters normally and 2m bays if you send me the wall sizes il get my boss give you a proper quote so you got a ruff price john

Thanks for the offer. Does that cover Kent? I'm waiting an update from son in law who the scaffold is for.

Do you still need this? The scaffold on my daughters house and another in the same location is coming down so the scaffolder may be looking to relocate if he doesn't already have somewhere for it. Where are you in Kent?

I've just phoned my daughter who needed it but we're a bit late, she's got something sorted out already.

Thanks a lot for the help
