Second hand case puma 210. The previous owner must of had it all set up but kept the screen and the antenna. All the wiring is there and the mounting base on the roof but obviously no antenna and screen. I dont suppose anyone would be able to tell me roughly how much it would cost to get it up and running again?? i think it would be a trimble system. thanks in advance for any input.

If the tractor is steer ready (valve, angle sensors etc from factory) and you wanted to go back to a factory based Case/Trimble setup for steering (AFS AccuGuide) then my understanding is you’d need a screen (like an AFS Pro 700), a receiver for the roof (e.g an AFS372) and also a navigation controller (e.g Nav II).

Might want to ring around a couple of CNH dealers here if they have any second hand AccuGuide gear for sale? There’s a couple of receivers etc on Agriaffaires in France for a very rough price guide...

If you could find something suitable secondhand, my gut feel is you’d still be looking at the thick end of £4K for the above @ EGNOS level accuracy. It’s around double that new.

Otherwise you could get a third party integrated system for it, like Topcon or Trimble auto-steer system. There are folks that maybe able to supply ex-rental or used systems including AS Comms (Trimble), LH Agro and Precision Decisions (both Topcon) worth a call.

Check with your Case dealer also for the latest promotions. They can quote you on the Case equipment that was mentioned above or the aftermarket Trimble equipment.

As mentioned above, you need the display, a GPS receiver (372) and a NAVIII controller to “complete” the tractor.

Second hand equipment might be cheaper but check with your dealer for a quote on new equipment first-there might be promotions running at this time of year which are quite competitive.

Keep an eye on eBay too, I got a, what looks to be new pro 700 for £450 to my door. My dealer was suggesting that a cheaper way to get the screen is to buy a replacement big baler screen, around a £1000 he thought, it would need a laptop on it though to upload the stuff to make it do all the tractor and AFS stuff though. If you are on good terms with your dealer they should help you out, I took mine to them and they plugged it into a demo tractor and put the latest software on it for half an hours labour. There has been some 262 and 372 receivers on there too but I’ve not seen a nav controller. As already said above, you’ll be looking at a few grand at least new or old. Factory fit is be better and neater over retrofit I’d say. You’ve all the hard work done, and I’m sure even new the screen, nav and a 372 would be less than a Trimble cfx 750 for example. I might be wrong on this but if you want to go RTK I don’t think the 262 can have the RTK radio fitted. The 372 can as I’ve done it.

Hi!
If you are out of antenna and screen, I'm almost sure that the tractor had Trimble equipment.
Please, post a picture of controler that you have.
If it is a Trimble you can buy CFX / FM750 or better and mount it.
It still needs to be upgraded with unlocking codes for RTK if you want it.
Otherwise, EGNOS will provide accurasy of 15-20 cm pass-to-pass.
