I would like to introduce myself, my name is Peter Theakstone I am in my 60's new to Metal Detecting and am looking for Permissions from Farmers to Detect on there Land. I am a member of the National Council for Metal Detecting so I do have insurance supplied by them. The NCMD is also recognised by the National Farmers Union. All the holes that I dig wil be small and Always filled in properly. I would never put any animal in any kind of distress and would always close gates and I would never detect in fields that have crops and follow the Country Code. Any thing I find that could be of interest I would always show the farmer. I would e pleased if any Farmer could contacts me through this forum.

Many Thanks

Peter Theakstone
