Anyone else having problems. Press "file a return" and it just goes round in circles. I will get an answer in 15 days. They can whistle for their £100 fine.

Just take a screenshot making sure it has the date in the corner. Any fines and you can prove you tried to submit on time.

Got there eventually, had to enter the site from a different direction. It remembered I had saved the password for 7 days but let me in first time.

Since getting myself sorted for digital vat returns my accounts are up to date so had mine sent in by mid April, makes a huge change from faffing around late jan trying to get it done
