Self locking yokes

Our feed passage is 9' wide as was originally designed for bales but now feed a TMR
Which self locking yokes would be the strongest/best quality as the barriers now get some hammer as the cows are always trying to get the bit of silage they can't quite reach

As above. Very well made, very strong, very pleased with ours, handle ravenous sucklers no problem

Jourdain BUT we have recently had a problem with welds failing on the adjuster arm which can mean the whole yoke falls flat. Failed on more than one yoke too so there is a weakness there or the inspections aren't as rigorous as they should be

Have Agritubel 20ft 9 space self locking yolks for heading to 11 years. hardly been touched other than tightening the odd bolt. Can't fault them.

We've jourdain ones too, happy with them. Seen the agritubel ones in the flesh and they looked as good

I think the ones i have looked at by Teemore are Jourdain ones, is there any where else to price them other than Teemore
Have also looked at some IAE yokes but they didn't seem as well made

Robinsons the shed builders often advertise the Agritubel ones. Always seem one of the few things you see that doesn't actually look dear for what they are.

What price are Teemore talking?

Only priced them at a show but i think he said 7 space 4.5mtrs would be about £450

We've got IAE here. Only been in 8 months but were pleased with them so far.

we have had De Boer gates (now GEA) for 26 years and have been fine. I think at about 20 years the locking started to fail, if a cow puls with all her might on the top they unlock, but the gates themselves are still structurally fine, they are 7 head ones, supported in the middle (well, not the exact middle ofcourse) .
Just taken delivery of new GEA gates, should be good for the next 26 years.
