what commission do marts charge?...heard my local mart is 15%:eek: +7.5% buyers:eek:.....can't think it's true:scratchhead:....thats a tenner on a £70 lamb for seller.....and a tenner for buyer after levies

All deadweight here. Have two good abattoirs closer than a decent live market. Could take them to a local live market but they'd end up in the same abattoir as they do now but for a knock down price.

Then everything dead

Now bit of both, often put some through the ring and some on the collection lorry on the same day, both at same market so easy to do.
