Separated slurry as loose housing bedding?

I know 2 people who use it in cubibles. There have been issues with mastitis which in one case took some perseverance to get through. I'm not sure it would stay dry enough as loose bedding.

Personally I don't think it is a very public friendly move to bed cows on what is dry poo. In my case it is too much of a disease risk especially with my tb status. Remember you are not allowed to use slurry from tb reactors in these systems.

Would be fairly useless in loose housing. As soon as animals peed on it it returns to slurry, would be a mess in a matter of hours . As far as the mastitis issues are concerned a unit we do work on bed up cubicles daily on freshly pressed bedding fresh from the cow, it's not been any trouble, however they did get trouble when stockpiled or pressed from lagoon stored poo as opposed to fresh.

Does anyone use separated slurry from a screw press and use it as loose housing bedding?
Interested to see what people's thoughts on it are?
What product you might add to it?
Thoughts? Hmmmmm how about WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?
Once you have your stock nicely bedded on crap, how about feeding them some bits of dead cows too? I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
