Settings advice for Trimble fmx

I have a new trailed drill that is mounted on the lift arms and it pivots 30 cm behind them. When I am lining up to sow if I am in to narrow the tractor steers out and the drill momentarily steers in which makes the problem worse and the opposite happens when I am out to far. This is leaving me with little narrow strips missed at the end which the headland is not able to catch. I am working with autopilot on RTK.
I know it is down to measurements & settings but I have tried everything but I still can't get it right.

Tractor rear axle to drill coulters 5.7m. Hitch to drill coulters started out at 3.7m but now have it shortened to 3m. Has helped a bit but still not great.

I don't want to have to use my markers and if I'm not bang on when I engage, the tractor corrects itself but as I said in my original thread the kick in the drill makes the problem momentarily worse,if you know what I mean.

Engage further out in the turn so drill is inline before you drop it into work.
Or
Play around with settings! Even till it that it is 3 point hitch mounted.

I've been playing around with the measurements and the line acquisition settings but still not happy.
Part of the problem is that it's taking a big headland to turn the drill and I'm coming in at an angle to start off.

I have taken to drilling in bouts with GPS steering when the drill is trailed and relativerly narrow for the tractors turning circle. Takes a bit more effort judging turn in starting a new bout, but makes the rest of the headland turns neater, easier and can reduce the headland width. Not quicker though as the time saved on most turns is spent lining up to start the next bout.
