Sewage Sludge

I've been searching and reading previous threads on this subject.

Basically a local contractor is offering free sewage sludge/cake spread for free.

We're all grass, hill farm, don't apply any fertilisers apart from FYM.
Mainly sheep, a few suckler moos.
Land is desperate for lime...

I'm not keen on the sewage sludge.
I've spread it before on arable land at work, that particular stuff had a lot of rubbish in it, plastic and stainless steel etc.

Another concern would be high copper levels and high hormone levels affecting the stock.

I think I would need to be talked into it rather than out of it!

Your thoughts, opinions and experiences please.

Sounds more like in vessel food waste compost you've had before sewerage sludge never had any contamination ?
