I've been searching and reading previous threads on this subject.
Basically a local contractor is offering free sewage sludge/cake spread for free.
We're all grass, hill farm, don't apply any fertilisers apart from FYM.
Mainly sheep, a few suckler moos.
Land is desperate for lime...
I'm not keen on the sewage sludge.
I've spread it before on arable land at work, that particular stuff had a lot of rubbish in it, plastic and stainless steel etc.
Another concern would be high copper levels and high hormone levels affecting the stock.
I think I would need to be talked into it rather than out of it!
Your thoughts, opinions and experiences please.
