Has anyone who has entered into an SFI pilot or an earlier version of SFI ever had a on site inspection?

Whilst most options do have 12 months to come into effect some need to be there on day one. Unsure if it was like the old ELS/HLS where they visited shortly after entering agreement and at end of 12 months may be we was unlucky but always felt trying to nitpick over something.Be nothing to inspect most options have 12 months to estsblish
Thank you, You are the first I have heard of having an inspection, pleased it went sounding like common sense.Yes I had one last November for the SFI pilot scheme. In fairness I was quietly impressed with the inspector, was practical and fair. What else would you like to know?
Just fill in your annual return and you will be inspected as per the rules... nothing changes... no exceptions.... just like CS you will be inspected annually for SFI.. submit your declarations in the 2 months before your agreement starts.. you will be checked.. you will be remote sensed.. you may be paid or not... you will NOT have BPS to fall back onthe farmes in contract or farm have had a number of stewardship inspections since els
the most rescent ones have been a lot easier than the early ones
when measuring areas more rescently as long as the total area of an option is on the ground there is no fine compared to pre brexit where any parcels with less than on the form were deducted with a fine but there was no allowance for parcels with extra area to compensate
the last check was records and photos of options on 4 fields
Are they just warming up?? YES OH YES Sireee.....Yes I had one last November for the SFI pilot scheme. In fairness I was quietly impressed with the inspector, was practical and fair. What else would you like to know?
