Short-term, herbage, headage payments, grazing licenses etc. The landlord gets it
Long-term, AHA or FBT. The tenant gets it (but that does not mean the landlord hasn't taken in SFP into their rental calculations, so might end up with it anyway)

sheep grazing land rented with us claiming sfp is about £80 - 100 , without (landlord claim ) approx £30- 40 acre , some we get for free and claim (so owners can claim ag use of land for inheritance purposes or to keep tidy for house owners ) it all balances out ,

The sooner SFP gos the better, most want £70 for reed, ridge n furrow and full of weeds you cant spray they keep sfp or £140 + you get sfp and pay rent up front...i have 8 land lords...this is wants killing the job..............it was alot better with headge payments

Rent has dropped £40 /acre since headage payments went , people renting land to play the numbers game
